National Soup It Forward Day: Golden Turmeric Chickpea Chicken Soup
Updated: Mar 2, 2023
I wanted to try a new soup for today, and when Patrick showed me this recipe, I was all in- Ginger & Tumeric are two of my favorite ingredients (and favorite tea)!
Well ... I'm sitting here on my third cup of soup as I write this. It is going directly into my frequently flyer section of my recipe books. I must say, I do not eat spicy foods (mild salsa is all I can usually handle), so I almost made 2 separate pots like I typically would (one with jalapeños for the kids and I). BUT, I decided just go go all in, so if you are looking for heat, you might want to add more spice for yours because I don't get any- just fabulous flavor!
Visit Ambitious Kitchen for their recipe below. There are tips for altering if you would like to make it vegetarian, or substitute/leave out the peanut butter.
