5 Strategies for Dining Out:

If you ever experience FOLO here are tips for making healthier choices when dining out.


1. Plan ahead: have an idea of what you are going to eat BEFORE you head to a restaurant; keep mental notes of go-to healthy meals you like at your favorite spots, or look up the menu ahead of time!
2. First things first: Drink a glass or water & veggies first
3. Box it up early: if you know that the portion sizes are larger than what you should consume then ask for a box and pack up your leftovers before you start eating
4. Buddy system: split a meal with someone
5. Order Dressings and Sauces on the side: this way you have more control over how many extra calories get added to your plate
