National Old Stuff Day 2023

For those of you that are close to me, you will be SHOCKED to hear that I easily get distracted!

My kiddos are getting bigger, and subsequently our home feels like it is getting smaller. I mean, my children are all little hoarders, and I get suckered by their sentimentality.

Not these past couple of weeks! Room by room we have all been taking turns purging. I've used this quote before, and I will use it again:

"While accumulating a few extra possessions may not seem like a big deal, clutter can actually have a negative impact on your mental health. Clutter can increase stress levels, make it difficult to focus, take a toll on relationships, and more" (1)

Which takes us to why me, a personal trainer, is posting about decluttering and getting rid of old stuff.

It causes unnecessary stress, and can be a major distraction- a great excuse for why you don't have time to work out.

Check out my blog from last year (click the photo) for Tips!
